Pipeline & Storage

CP10-457-000 Line N Pipeline Relocation and Interconnect Project

On December 16, 2010, National Fuel Gas Company's Pipeline and Storage segment received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to replace and relocate a natural gas pipeline in Greene and Washington counties, in Pennsylvania. The new 19-mile pipeline will help improve the reliability of the existing pipeline system, which transports natural gas from the Appalachian region to markets throughout the northeast.

On October 26, 2011, the pipeline was placed into service. The new 19-mile pipeline will help improve the reliability of the existing pipeline system, which transports natural gas from the Appalachian region to markets throughout the northeast.

This project included the construction of approximately 19 miles of a 20-inch pipeline, which was built in two segments. The first segment began at Interstate 70 and ended near the South Franklin/Morris Township line. The second segment began north of Route 18 at Old Concord and ended at the existing Holbrook-Texas Eastern Compressor Station, which is located in Rich Hill Township, Greene County.
