Seneca
Resources - Gulf Division
In 1976, Seneca Resources expanded
its operation into the Gulf region with the opening
of its Houston office. Houston is considered the
oil capital of the world, and Seneca’s presence
there exposes it to excellent oil and gas opportunities.
From
1990 to 2006, most of Seneca’s exploration
success occurred in the state and federal waters
offshore Texas and Louisiana, in water depths
less than 400’. Seneca licenses over 23,000
square miles of 3D seismic data and has an interest
in over 60 offshore leases in the Gulf of Mexico.
